Was looking at a few of these on the main page specifically the 8800gts\gtx overclocked (3ghz) system with the core 2 duo. Well its one thing reading the specs etc but does anyone actually have pics of an ocuk built system? Wouldn't mind seeing how cables are routed in the case, how many procceses are runnig on first boot etc.

Theres a few reviews of these systems so im assuming some people here may have them, any chance of pics, or andy the ocuk tech any chance of a few pics of the internals? :)

Got a reply back, apparently they can't do that......

Who was it who answered the webnote? I've learnt there are varying degrees of person in that place which dictate what answer you will receive... earlier I sent a note asking for my delivery address to be changed to my workplace. I then received a note back from someone telling me very curty that it couldnt be done. I emailed back asking why, and then received another response from a different bloke who (politely) told me it was against policy due to fraud etc. I then sent another webnote explaining (I also explained this in the first webnote too) that while I had not yet ordered from the new site, I was a customer of the previous site and that all my details would be on the system still and received a reply form yet another polite chap telling me that my address had now been changed and I was good to do.

So basically maybe send another webnote or call them and ask to speak to someone. If it means a potential sale of an expensive PC I can't see why they would be averse to taking a couple of pics with a cheap digicam they have there and emailing them straight to you. It may be that your first webnote went to the wrong sort. :)

They are built to order, they don't have them there to take pictures off.

Ahh that explains it. But their reply should have contained that information as way of explaining why they couldn't. The webnotes system is a real pain to use if you need further info as you have to fill in all the details all over again then copy and paste previous correspondence etc.

True but i think having pics on the site of the actual build quality you can expect goes a long way to showing that theres a certain level of pride in their work. Anyone can bung components together and have cables left dangling all over the place, or take the easy route and just ziptie them in a bundle left dangling there. Routing them obviously takes time but its a nice touch to have the cables kept out of the way so the components are easily accessible.

A friend of mine just today ordered THIS system, that was the reason i was asking for pictures of the internals to see if the build qualitys upto scratch.

Ill have to check back on my xp partition to see who it was. :)

Well he got his pc today, seems to be a nice fast stable system with plenty of oomph. Only negative was the wires were done pretty much the way i expected, bunched up and tied with a ziptie. Might have something to do with the case and the psu being at the bottom though.
