Question About PCI-E Power Lead??

Can someone tell me what the 2 pin plug attached to the main PCI-E plug is for

Is it surpossed to plug into the 2 golden pins next to the 6pin PCI-E plug in the 8800GT card?

Yep, would be useful for a 2900XT.

You're 8800 doesn't need the extra pins.

You use the 6pin on any current Nvidia card and 2x 6pins on a Ultra (not sure on GTX)

You need 2x 6pins on the GTX

Otherwise a it will complain.. with lots of noise!

you can use one on the GTX and ultra, they'll just run at lower clocks and youll get warnings from nvidia control panel
