Just a quick Q

I have a HD2900 with a Corsair HX620w PSU.

On the power cable for the GPU i have a 6pin + a 2pin. I am guessing I should use both and plug them into the 8 pin one. As i read that if we're going to OC the HD2900 we should use the 8 pin connector.

Am i right? (Sorry last minute jitters building my new build hehe)

Well the only thing you need the 8pin for is for overclocking using overdrive. You can easily overclock the card using a third party app 'just' using two 6pin connections.

But if you've got a PSU that supports the 8pin, which you have, you may as well plug it in :)
