Question about power..

Hi all.

I'm not really in the know on PSU's and the like, so here's my spec...

Gigagyte mobo
4 GB DDR2 Ram
Intel 6600 Go CPU
8800 GT 512mb GPU
1 SATA HDD
1 DVD RW drive
X - Fi Extreme Music sound card.

Right, i have a Tagan 480W PSU, and i bought this around 4, maybe 5 years ago? It isn't modular, nor has it 2 6pin GPU connector thingies.
It's been solid as a rock, and it's still chugging away now.

Just wondering whether a GPU upgrade would be possible? I don't know what i'm after yet, but would there be any head-room for anything else?

Yes, you're good for a GFX upgrade. The PSU will have to work for a living but you have about 150w headroom I reckon.

Looks like i'll be sticking with the Tagan for a bit longer then!
