Hi all,

I was just wondering how much cheaper it would be to build your own system in comparison to buying a prebuilt one before I make my decision.

Thanks.

I would be able to build system I reckon but when it comes to overclocking etc I am not so sure.

Budget would be £1200 but I would like that to include a good sized moniter and a copy of windows 8 in that and if I can save money I would like to.

I am still in the process of working out my build but off the top of my head I would like a half decent system that will run the latest games into 2013, comes with a good blu ray/dvd burner, an SSD to boot my OS and a few programs from, 1TB HD.

From what I have read overclocking seems like a good idea as I can increase my performance without having to spend more money (correct me if i am wrong please)

Thanks.

Some great advice guys.

If paying an extra £100 gets me 2 years warranty, less stress and support I will just pay that.

Do some of the prebuilt systems come overclocked? And how much extra will it cost?

That system looks very good but I just have 2 questions.

Will it read/burn blu rays? This is something I have to include.

Should I bother with a touchscreen monitor for windows 8?

Thanks again.
