Question about PSU

Hi looking at ordering this....

I have an oldish asrock mobo. It has a 20 pin connector on it and then the 4 pin. Am i right in thinking, newer mobo's have a 24pin? But this psu would be ok for my mobo.

Its just a simple spare system.

as far as I know theyre still all 20+4 pins so any should fit, but yeah that one will, it states in description 20/24 pin

Another question, ive only got like a cheap psu. And its got a tiny 80mm fan. Its not a named make or anything like that. I have switched off all the fans on my pc and just had the PSU on and its seems to produce a lot of noise.

I am assuming this psu will be a step in the right direction to reduce noise?

Then it's time to replace that probable time bomb regardless is it noisy or not.

Generic psus are the spawn of satan! Repent, Replace, Repent! Sorry i'm bored lol but yeh that psu you spec'd will be fine
