I am running low on storage on my current SSD, 120GB Kingston UV400, all that is on it is my OS and programs/games. All other files are stored on my HDD. What I want to know is provided I buy the same SSD, can I just put them in raid with data already stored on my current SSD or will I have to wipe it first? Thanks

Creating a raid array will wipe any existing data on all disks in the array. You could always clone your drive and put the image on your new raid disk config, but I reckon it's always better to start these things afresh.

Ah ok. Might just be simpler to buy a second SSD then that I can 100% dedicate to games and that would allow me to get a larger one aswell

I use a piece of software called Drivepool, it allows you to add drives together/add redundancy etc.

I have a load of large drives and 2x 250GB samsung evo as cache, works really well.
