I need to RMA some hardware but its something i have baught 2nd hand from the Members market.

I have the reciept but it obvioulsy has his name and address on it.

Whats the best way for me to go about this ?

1)Say that "he" has moved to my current address? and use his name in all my corispondence?

2)Say that he has asked me to do the RMA for him because hes going on holiday, or something else similar?

3)Just tell them that i baught them 2nd hand and dont have a reciept?

need your advice folks thanks..

If you tell them it's second-hand your warranty is void, so your best bet is just to say that you are him and you have had a change of address. Of course, this is illegal, and I doubt OcUK would be pleased, not to mention that they might on the off-chance ask for the last four digits of your credit card number to confirm "your" identity because of the address thing.

OT: Úlfhednar sent you a email last night. :)

And don't try and play around the warranty, as it is fraud and illegal, and thus not allowed on the forums.

Most warranties only cover the first user, no more.
