Hello, i am currently using a monitor that is max of 1280x1024 and my HD 5850 is a bit too good for the resolution.

Would i be able to add supersampling to make the GPU render a higher resolution?

What supersampling would i need to make 1280x1024 to be like 1920x1080?

If anyone could answer that would be great

Supersampling is just Anti Aliasing. Have you got the option to add AA to your games? You can also force AA via AMD Control Center, under the Gaming Tab, then 3D Application Settings.
