Question about the "Program Files" folder in Vista 64-bit

Hi,

Just wondering if I should be worrying about whether stuff gets installed to the "Program files" folder or the "Program file (x86)" folder?

Will the installation software for the program automatically select the correct folder, or should I be choosing myself?

- I've noticed 'proper' 64-bit applications (as in ones that are specifically made for 64-bit) go into the Program Files folder and others into the Program Files (x86) folder.

Ordered another 2GB RAM earlier today - should be with me on Friday hopefully

Is there anything I should know before I put it in or will it work 'out of the box'?

Nope, not overclocked. Just running on 2.1v at the moment (Geil 6400 Ultra 4-4-4-12 800MHZ)
