Thats excellent then, O2 charge £3 a MB their company is such a joke, luckily I managed to cancel my contract with them.

Orange have / had a similar deal and I'm tempted to pick up a few PAYG sims if I can find a cheap phone able to work as a bluetooth or IR modem.

Encryption of the file headers and vpn makes it hard to implement packet shaping.

A lot of people have had sucess using encryption with bittorrents over port 80. In fact utorrent and azerus have implemented encryption of the file headers into their new betas and from what I've heard vpn makes it unregonizeable, encrypted or not.
