Have just gotten my New Toshiba laptop which comes with windows 7 installed and all the toshiba crap that comes with it. I have my own copy of windows 7 home, can i use my this windows 7 dvd and use the cd key from the bottom of the laptop to install windows 7, or wont that work??

I got the tosh satalite pro L650 165, Well the dvd i have of Windows 7 is home edition and this is the same version that has been installed on the laptop, i thought i would just be able to grab the cd key of the bottom of my laptop and use that to activate my windows 7 dvd, i thought this would work as they are both home editions
