Question about VMWare

Hi,

I'm wanting to install VMWare again on my PC, but the version I loved isn't compatible with Vista x64 (I like the latest 1.0.5 - not v2 beta).

Is there any decent, reliable way to either make version 2 run the same as 1.0.5 did, or install 1.0.5 on Vista x64?

If you disable driver signing you should be able to install 1.0.5.

I use the version 2 beta, which has signed drivers. For the most part it's perfectly usable, there are a few UI bugs but nothing major.

Tried that, but no virtual machines will start up for me, they all get stuck at 95% which is why I asked if v1 was possible on Vista x64

Also, the driver signing disable thing doesn't work anymore due to a recent Windows patch.
