Hi 8 Pack, I have a question about this OC:

Now I know that currently with this particular cooler, it's going to get too hot however, for a 4.70GHz OC how do the volts measure up/ are they OK? they fluctuate between 1.392v to 1.408v nothing lower or higher between these, well they didn't during this small run of Prime95 anyway, so I'm presuming thats what they'll range at. If they do look ok for this high clock, then I'm up for sugestions on a higher grade cooler, I currently have the Noctua NH-U9B-SE2. I'm wondering whether the Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H100i would do the job required?

Update: same settings different results on Windows 8 http://img41.imageshack.us/img41/299/29945382.jpg

Providing your not hammering the stress tests ie synthetic silicon killers then the voltage is fine for everyday use. If your gonna fold or use high stress stuff all the time then its a little high. Its your call only you know how hard your working the silicon.

Better coolers always help yes and the H100 is indeed a good closed loop cooler. I looked at one recently on a 3930K and it did well with 130w cpu overclocked to handle. For watercooling I usually recomend a custom loop as then you can always upgrade add to etc as funds or needs be.
