Question about XBox 360 dashboards

Hi all

I sometimes hear people talking about 'rare' dashboards for the XBox 360. I understand they are supposed to be moddable in some way, but could someone please explain which dashboards are rare and exactly why they seem so sought after?

Also my Xbox has dashboard 2.0.13599.0, is that special in any way? Just curious.

They used to be, not anymore. 7371 was the last dash that was exploitable for the jtag hack and anything on that or below was sought after.

Things have progressed since and there is another hack that achieves the same thing and is not dependent on a certain dash, making a box with 7371 worth no more than normal.
