Question before purchase

I'm about to purchase my bits and bobs for my first build and im going with this over clocked bundle: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BU-023-OB&groupid=43&catid=339&subcat=1802

I was told by a friend that you can upgrade the motherboard if needed? Is this true please?

Also is they any board that you can recommend to replace this gigabyte one please?

You probably can but you would need to call the shop and speak to someone.

Would you be needing SLI & Crossfire compatible board?

I will be needing a SLI board, with as many useful gadgets as possible, don't really want to exceed £150 though. I've got an ASUS board at the moment, and that is great

Yes ive heard great things about the board, i was going to ask for that instead of the one provided.

that ASUS doesnt have new stuff like SATA and USB3.0

Thats great, I will ask for this motherboard i think it will be a better option then the one advertised anyways.

Can I just make sure quickly that the other components are compatible with this mobo please.

That is a good board if you don't need USB3 and SATA3

yes to all that stuff, and your PSU has enough grunt to add a second GTX480 for sli too.

I know this is going to sound really stupid and possibly childish, but can you recommend another mobo that dosent look so bright? And possibly with darker colours such as the asus one?

I know this is going to sound stupid to a lot of people but its my first build and i want the look to be as important as the spec.

But like the Asus does not have SATA 3 or USB 3 but it depends if you need these.

In all honesty the Gigabyte is a good board I have the UD5 (X58 Chipset) and does not look bright.
