Question: can you SLI-CROSSFIRE

Quick question…. Would it be worth me putting a spare GTX260 i have in my pc to enable to physx? I thought you couldn’t SLI-CROSSFIRE (like what i did there ) 2 different cards? I read somewhere that people have put 2 separate cards in their rigs?

My current RIG:

I7 DO
Rampage II extreme
6gb GT DOM’s 1866
1 x 5850 ATI HIS

So if I put a GTX260 in there would it be worth it?

depends what games you play,for games like metro 2033 you wounld see a gain in fps,bit of hit and miss

Really confused about the whole thing tbh! would the cards both be working to run a game?

Modded drivers allow you to use an nvidia card for physx processing with an ati main, but both cards won't be rendering. Also, cuda won't be enabled.
