Hey all, i've been thinking of finishing off my eclipse asap as i've recently upgraded and have it sitting here at a silly angle with the side off while i work out what to do :)

I only have 2 x hdd and 1 x dvd-rw in there, for now, and was trying to think of the best way to do things, i'm planning on a 120mm Noctua 1200rpm fan for the front (The older one i have in there isn't pushing nearly enough air) and i was wondering if mounting the hdd's in the floppy bay would be ok? I know they won't have a fan blowing over them but i was thinking either that, the http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-061-CM&groupid=701&catid=7&subcat=29 coolermaster 4in3 perhaps? Or am open to any other suggestions as what might be best, i would just like to get that bottom HDD cage out to let the Noctua at the front push a bit lot of uninterrupted air straight through, over the 8800 and eventually up & out :)

Also i wasn't sure how good the Akasa 120mm side panel was? With summer approaching i thought i'd get my cooling updated & sorted now so i'm not sitting next to a living toaster for the next few months!

If anyone has any opinions on what would be a good call to do, i would really appreciate it, thanks! :)

Also, i will be throwing a Noctua NH-U12F on the 6300 for cool & quiet :)

Thanks again all :)

I take it you mean you use http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=SY-002-AK&groupid=701&catid=57&subcat=399 under your HDD in the HDD bay, that idea works for me, i heard the Kama Bay didn't have the most efficient fan in the world on it, would it be worth looking into a replacement to throw on it? maybe the 800rpm noctua?

Was thinking while i'm at it, i might throw http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-003-NC&groupid=701&catid=57&subcat=399 on the northbridge instead of the giant heatsink that come from Asus, not sure how the Asus one and my Noctua CPU cooler will get on!

Thanks again mate.

Ahh ok then mate :)

Think i'll be looking around to see if the NB heatsink needs replacing to fit the Noctua on, if so, that babbeh noctua will do nicely i'm sure, should be more than adequate, globule of AS5 and away we go, yeah? :D

Only reason i wouldn't think of changing the kama bay fan (undecided on what i'd do) is as it is 12.5db and inaudible, its handy as it will literally be in your face won't it!
