Web developer so I use it about 35 hours a week for that. On top of that about 10 hours a week, so 45 in total. Wife and 2 kids - been married 13 years and the PC used to put a huge strain on our relationship when I was on it as much as you, but since I lot interest in online gaming I cant think of much else to do on a PC after work.

No women, no kids.

I have a wife and 2 kids? Don't really seem 'em much as am on the PC all day at work and most evenings.....
Probably on average about 65 hours a week...
TBH it's a great retreat! LOL. Don't tell your Mrs that though....

about 10-15 hours, maybe substantially more if the Mrs goes to bed early or if she isn't home when I get in from work and I can get on my game(s).

We have 1 Child who's almost 1 year old.

Same Prob closer to the 10 hour mark.

Wife is due to give birth in July. Even now, 70 hours is an extreme amount of time to be spent sat in front of a PC.....I for one would never be able to justify that

If that's 70 hours on the PC out of the office then hell yeah thats allot, it must be strange married to someone that spends most of thier waking day just sat in the corner staring at a computer with thier back turned to them, must feel a little disheartening for her, remember she's married the man of her dreams, do you mix ever mix it up a little ?, surprise her romantically from time to time, and not just when the calender says so.

No this is IN TOTAL, Not out of office. I work with computers everyday, and spend a max. of 7 hours a week out of office on the PC...

I'd say 70 a week is a fair estimate. 9hrs per day work & average 1 a day at home.

40 hours a week at work on a PC.
20 hours a week at home on a PC.

So something in the region of 60 hours in a normal week.

No kids.

Well assume exc toilet breaks and the days I do take lunch about 38 hours a week work plus about 7 hours a week at home these days so only 45 hours.

Prior to kids and when work was busier at least 40 work and probably 15-20home.

To reach 70 working 5 days a week you need to be pulling 10 hours a day actually working at desk plus 20 hours in own time over 7 days.
