Looking to get a new gaming chair but I have a very specific requirement and that is that the back of it can be locked firmly in place so that when I lean backwards or push my back against it is rock solid with no play.
The reason for this is sim racing, I have a desk setup with pedals hardmounted to my floor and some nifty bit of gear that is attached to the pedals that allows me to place my chairs wheels into slots so that when I press heavily on the brake pedal the chair doesn't move/roll backwards as its attached to the pedals. It all works great with my current chair... apart from one problem...
my current chair has both a locked upright position as well as a rocking/lean back function. The problem is that the 'locked upright' position has some play and rocks back maybe an inch or so everytime I push myself back into the seat under heavy braking.
So my question is as follows:
Do either the Boullies or Secret Lab chairs have any looseness or play when they are locked in an upright position or are they rock solid with no play ? Are there any other chairs that fit this criteria ? I've watched a few reviews but it's really hard to judge.
