Question for DS4 owners re: cpu cooler

why do you say its fake?

Because I accidentally stood on one and broke it and there was nothing inside. Just a hollow tube. I know the website says 'heat pipe' technology, but I have seen inside one and there was nothing inside. I've had CPU coolers leak in the post and they have a silvery-grey stuff in them so I would have expected the same.

While we're discussing heatpipe design, is it just me that thinks nearly all heatpipe CPU coolers look as though they're designed to work in desktop cases despite the fact the tower case is the norm these days? With some designs like the Akasa Evo120 I really can't see which way round it's supposed to go in a tower case so that the heatpipes are at an angle that might work. The only manufacturer that seems to have thought about tower cases is Vapochill and no-one talks about their HSFs at all.

Ac 7 pro here, no probs with airflow here either, all stock, only have an exhaust fan on the back, one in the top, and one on side window all running at half speed, system temp is about 31-32, and my CPU is about 28-31 in the BIOS, and cores are 40-41 using core-temp, and thats with the Freezer on half speed to (about 1200rpms). :)
