Question for Enemy Territory players

This could go in the Graphics folder but I figured I'd get more of a response from in here. If this is wrong wrong wrong, please let me know!

If you are still an avid ET player, what graphics card are you using to run the game? What sort of frame rates are you getting from your setup?

In addition, what servers are you using? I'm looking for some decent servers running ET Pro and having a nice selection of maps, but my two favourites seem to have been taken offline and I'm not having any joy in finding a new one.

My previous favourite was running all the basic maps, bar Railgun, and had added Caen, Venice and Temple Final to the party. Anyone able to better that?
 
I play nearly every day and am using an [email protected] and 2 x 6800gt. I actually get pretty poor framerates for my setup. I keep the fps locked at 76 and it can hold that but try to do it at 125 and it flickers between that and 100.

The main servers I play are;

213.200.95.51:27964 - Bio Clan Server
82.133.85.21:27940 - Jolt 4
 
That's strange - I'd have thought you would have been blistering the FPS with an SLI setup. I assume that's with everything turned on though, right? Oh, what resolution is that at?

would have thought you would get higher fps than that tbh.

I run @ 1600 x 1200 and lock it down to 76. Running on P43ghz (clocked to 3.4) 1Gig ram and 6800GT.

your FX55 should blitz ET as I think ET is pretty dependent on CPU (graphics card helps in higher res.) what resolution are you playing at? Dont know whether ET would benefit from SLI?

That's with a pretty tweaked config to allow easier player recognition against backgrounds. I'm also running at only 1280x1024.

I recently set it up on my old machine (xp2000+ & GF4 4200i) as I recently networked it to allow my old dear to use the net and that got between 80-90 fps on a decent config.
 
I used to play on a 6600GT with 4xAA and 8xAF @1280x1024 with the fps counter usually locked at 90fps, sometimes dipping a bit lower in airstrikes etc.
 
43, 76 or 125. I can get a steady 46 with my current setup (laptop) but that's only at 1280x1024. I'd love to be able to play at 1600x1200 and have a steady FPS of 125.

GeForce 7800 GT territory?
