Hi Guys

So i have watercooled system but i'm not happy with temps so i wonder if i change top rad with is Hardware Labs Black ICE Radiator GTS-Lite 240 , 29.6mm think for Phobya G-Changer 240 HPC Dual 120mm Radiator with is 50mm think what temps change is possible to see ???
At the moment i have 780ti in Sli and temps in game are 39-40c so i wonder if those 20mm difference can make a huge change because i planing add third 780ti to loop .
What you guys think ???
Here is pic of my system

I was thinking to change case for Corsair 900D and add monster 60mm rads but that change will cost me lot of £££

I can't see you getting much better than 40c in-game to be honest. What's the temperature of the room?

You might see a degree or two but nothing worth the expense and effort. If the existing rads are holding the temps stable then you'd be mad to change it.

From the radiator benchmarks, i doubt you will see even a few degrees change with a 240mm.

If you can fit a 900d in your place, money is better spent with a huge external which would be smaller. A square 480 quad external will be a lot of radiator, more than you need but IMO, if youa re gonna go external, go big or go home:

YOUR BASKET
1 x Watercool Radiator MO-RA3 360 LT - white £117.95
Total : £117.95 (includes shipping : ).

Two sets of disconnects would make it very flexible, you can not only just remove the rad but make the internal loop work without the external rad by pairing up the alternative disconnects together. I use this method to switch my external radiator set up from my main PC to my test bench if i need the extra cooling but also need both systems to be able to operate.

Carbide 540 + 1080 radiator is still smaller than a 900d and much cheaper too, with more cooling!

I don't agree. Have you actually done the maths?

Look at all the heat producing elements and total up the wattage. Look at the C/W ratios of your blocks. Then look at the capacities of the radiators. You may well find that the radiators are removing all the heat that the blocks are capable of removing and that no amount of extra radiator or fans will make any difference.

I think you're being unscientific about this and that you just think your temps should be lower without any justification.

But hey, it's your money. If you want to waste it how about giving it to charity?

so you think add third GPU will not increase temps ???

Adding another gpu should be fine, if you have any issues you could always change your setup around and possibly have saved a lot of money.

I don't know! It depends on what the total cooling is compared to the total heat inputs. It might do and if it does you could get more suitable fans or add another radiator.

On the other hand, if the temps go up a bit does it matter? What's the obsession with temps anyway? Stable and quiet should be a target but temps for the sake of temps seems obsessive.

Stable is but quiet not really 1300RPM on fans 30cm from your head is not quiet.
But when i not gaming fans are on 600rpm with is quied and temps are round 28c with is perfect ,
my goal is to get same temps in idle as when in game with 600rpm fans with is no possible with this case .

What's the temperature of the room as your temps are good?

Also depends on the games you play mine vary from mid thirties to mid forties.
