I'm trying to teach myself some science and am blogging about what I read. I need to cite my sources in my articles, but I'm stuck. I've been using Mendeley as a reference manager, but it doesn't seem to have an HTML option that I can put on my WordPress blog.

I've been thinking about buying EndNote 20, but then I found that I could take the BibTeX output from Mendeley and run it through BibTeX2HTML and get something I can paste into my WordPress articles.

What would you do in my situation? I should point out I use Linux on my machine, so if I did go for EndNote 20, I'd need to run it on a Windows 10 virtual machine which is not ideal.

The researchers I've worked with have typically just maintained them manually.

Thank you for your reply.

Where do they store PDFs of the papers then? I have a whole bunch of PDFs with sections highlighted and notes written against them which I store in Mendely and then export a bibliography at the end with the correct DOI number and PMID etc. Plus because of the browser extension, I can pull all of this information off academic journal websites without having to worry about filling in a bunch of data manually.
