Question for the flight/plane gurus.

Is it possible to see how full a certain flight was on a particular date/time?

SAS are flying direct flights from my local airport Luleå Kallax to London Heathrow but they have cancelled 50% due to low demand.

Any help? I wanna predict the likelihood of future cancellation, or if they fly with like 20 people on board.

I think that most, if not all, airlines would treat their passenger numbers as commercially sensitive information so I think you might struggle to find that out..

Also, I expect other factors also need considered. Eg, how much does the airline need the plane/crew to be available elsewhere for return flight / transfer etc.

You could probably extrapolate this info from all flights that actually happened.
Look at times and day of flight, you will probably find that the Friday evening flight always went ahead for instance.

https://www.expertflyer.com/ Will do the job (sign up for the free trial for the Pro account). I haven't used it with SAS before but with BA for checking seat availability on flights.

Just try to ensure it doesn’t come down in a cemetery, or Michael Barrymore’s pool. The existing corpses throw the count off somewhat…
