This sort of thing requires agreement. If I ok'd it and then an admin said no, I'd look a plonker. For the record, I voted it was ok

Hmmm. Winning isn't exactly a giveaway and hints towards a competition.

What needs to be done to win it?

BTW Maccy always looks a plonker, so don't worry about that.

You go to the GoodReads giveaway page. Then click the button that says "enter to win" next to my book (when the giveaway goes live). That's it. No competition, just a name randomly selected by computer.

Seriously, all I want is for people here to have a chance to win a signed copy.

I only have so many copies from the publisher. Most are already accounted for.

It's a site where people list what they read or want to read. Yes you need an account but its free.

If he was serious and the answer was NO I would have expected the thread to be locked at the same time because a mod/admin decision is final

In hindsight, yes. However, I read the thread late last night so I was tired and missed that obvious clue.
