Question for the people in the industry - MDA Vario II??

Was just wondering if anyone had anymore info on the MDA Vario 2 that is supposed to be comming out? Is there a firmer date as to when it will hit the UK and a good link to its specification.

I've heard June, but I don't know when in June.

As for specs, its very similar to that of the Vario but with a 2.1 megapixel camera, and 300mhz CPU. I did hear rumours that it would be 3g, but I dont think they turned out to be true.

Is it only T-Mobile that'll release this anytime soon? O2 still seem to be pimping their XDA Mini S?

Seems that the Vario 2 will have 3G but the faster 3.5G devices with HSDPA 8-10Mbps, compared to normal 3G at 384Kbps. So sounds like a perfect phone for me, and some people are saying around this month, May, for a release with Tmobile. Which is great timing as my contract should be up around the end of May.

The VarioII / Hermes wins over for me, due to the keyboard and possible 3g.

I've emailed T-Mobile too see if they can give me a date, but I'm not expecting a reposnse this side of June, and even when it does come it'll probably be quite vague

The million dollar question for me is have they changed the position of the stylus bay. I am on to my second Vario after the first was replaced due to its incapability of holding the stylus in place. The second one is now beginning to come loose! It's my only major gripe with an otherwise great phone and if the Vario II has they bay on top I'll be holding out for one of them.

Same here would love unlimeted 3G data for £7.50 a month too though. So might have to be the Vario 2.

The only other option i see is the Nokia E70 but not sure when thats comming out.
