A man died today. Most of you have heard his voice and many of you will have heard his voice nearly every day of the week? Who am I talking about?

Yes. End of an era. I wonder when they'll stop using his voice? Possibly right away out of respect for his family?

I imagine his family would probably actually like it to continue to be honest.

He's a legacy, I'd be surprised if his family want them to discontinue using his voice. Rather out of appreciation they might want TFL to continue using it.

It will have to be phased out eventually though with new announcements.

I wouldn't want that tbh. Don't go butchering the guy's legacy, although obviously that's my opinion. Keep his announcement as it is.
