So for a while I've been curious about if there's any real difference between Gpu's as in
all the different 3080s from the same brand. Theres so many from the same brand.

Gigabyte 3080's - Normal / Extreme / Master / Vision / Eagle... what is the difference? Why so many?
Asus 3080's- TUF / Strixs
Msi 3080's - Suprim / Suprim X / Trio / Ventus - How many do you need?
Pny 3080's - Epic X / XLR8

And there's so much more I could list...
But is there any real difference from the cards outside of branding / Aesthetic

For Gigabyte, they have split their brands into mainstream and high end with Aorus .

Currently with the Aorus, you have 4 yr warranty on Nvidia and GPU . Master and Xtreme are 4 slot coolers , so the thickest cards you'll find but not the longest luckily . Xtreme has 3x 8 pin power connectors to Masters 2.. but this is changing with new version .

Their Gigabyte range, Gaming OC and Vision share the same cooling design at 3 slots but only the Gaming OC has 4 year warranty . Vision and eagle have standard 3 years .
Also the Eagle is 2.5 slot cooler if I remember correctly

Aorus 3080 us vapour champer between GPU die and Heat pipes/heatsink, Gigabyte is just a copper plate /heatpipes

The difference would be between the cooling capacity, power limits, and boost clocks. The cheaper variants usually have less heatsink surface and use worse fans and worse binned chips or lower factory overclock.
