Hi,

ATM i have an Abit AW(D-MAX it has served me well and is a nice baord and has overclocked my E6600 to 9 x 389 = 3.5Ghz.

However i want to change my multi to 7 or 8 and oush the FSB to keep the ram in 1:1 but this board can not go over 415fsb stable :(

SO my question is: which boards will do 500fsb? if there are nay which i am sure there are.

Thanks

My striker will do 500 fsb no problem with a duo but struggles with 400 with quad , also the cheaper Asus P5N32-E PLUS is supposed to be good

The P965 boards will do higher FSBs, but the chances are it's your CPU that's carping out. 3.5GHz stable with an E6600 is a very good overclock. There are very, very few E6600's doing better than 3.4GHz even with water cooling.

if you absolutely must change then I 2nd the QuadGT as most other 965s drop to the 1333 strap ~400fsb & 650i (& 680i?) ~425fsb so take a performance hit.

of course you may want to wait & see about P35.
