Question On Buying CPU

Hi i am looking to order

AMD Phenom II X6 Six Core 1055T "95W Edition" 2.80GHz (Socket AM3) - OEM (HDT55TWFK6DGR)

From overclockers.... i am familiar to buying OEM parts so that is not the issue ...

i am not looking to buy a full system as already got 1 i want to upgrade to the X6 however i will be wanting to sell my ol parts in a pc i make up (which will be going to a friend)

Is it ok if i order the above CPU with a motherboard like a ASUS that supports the x6 and a few other bits to make up the second pc to Qualify to OEM

As 1 again i dont want a full OC UK system and 2 OCUK dont have a bundle for this CPU

Give em a bell. I heared that another retailer was selling these to people who bought just another component - RAM/HDD/OEM Windows etc. Ring em and put on the charm, you never know

This must have come from AMD - OC still sell Intel OEM chips without that tag!

In the End i bought the X6 OEM with a MOBO and RAM + a case for the other machine and they arrived yesterday ..... just waiting for delivery of HeatSink for the X6 as thats coming from else where
