Question on my MOBO

Hi guys/girls

i have a question about my mobo asus p5q pro turbo . in the bios there is a option for ide/raid/ahci . i have just installed two 60gb ssds and when i choose ahci i am unable to set the drives up in raid but when choosing raid option it lets me set up raid0 or what ever i choose . i read that ahci is the best option for my ssds but not sure how to get them in to ahci mode.any help would be great

If you want them as individual drives then use AHCI mode.

If you want to set up a RAID array then use RAID mode.

Simples.

FYI RAID mode usually includes AHCI.
