Question on pins and stuff.

Would it be ok to plug in a 3 pin cpu fan on a 4 pin connector(on mobo)? Ive got a p5q deluxe mobo btw.

yes. the extra pin is to allow the bios to control the fan speed. but it will work fine even with only 3 pins.
