Hi guys,

I have a HP P2055d printer and a Cisco SRP527 is it possible for me to plug the printer into the router and then print from it wirelessly?

edit - if so is there a guide or something that I could follow?

Kind regards,
Mike

Usually the drivers are setup to create this connection for you.

Have you tried to connect your printer to the router through its ethernet connection and tried to instal drivers?

Sorry for being a little thick but what drivers are you talking about? I have the printer set up on my computer already as just a local printer that I connect to via USB.

I assumed I would need to configure the router somehow to accept printing instructions wirelessly.

Once you log it into the router, you need to assign it a static IP so its accessible through the network. Then you can run the Printer setup (if you dont have the install CD for the Printer, as this would do it all for you) You can install it as a local printer and when it asks for the port, choose TCP/IP and then put in its ip. Hopefully it should detect the printer on that IP and install the right driver as you already have the driver on your system.
