I have my Intel Core i5 2500K 3.30GHz @ 4.60GHz DDR3 which is due today

I have been told by OC tech if i add another 4GB i will loose my clock on machine , which is better getting another 4GB or keeping the clock speed ?

Thanks :D

Memory in machine > Corsair Vengeance 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C8 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit

Well I assume that because you have gotten an i5, you will be gaming and not hardcore video encoding, editing etc? Then 4GB is fine, keep your clock. Although getting to 4.6ghz isn't hard with SB.

Won't be the same, 4sticks of ram can cause inconsistency and a lot of trial and error. Will effect overclocking, so making a note won't work.

Just gaming & small amount of photoshop CS5 & Photoshop Elements 9
