How do you cancel an isp and change to something else ie from orange/freeserve to o2 for instance ?

I haven't installed a connection since my freeserve one [now orange] for a few years and I used a disc, which deteced my thompson speedtouch modem no problem and that was more or less it.

Does anybody use o2 broadband, and what is it like, as this is my mobile and I could combine the 2 ?

Unless it's full LLU (i.e. they've taken over your voice service), get MAC key from losing ISP, give to winning ISP, get migrated.
O2/Be give you a router so you don't need a disk. You don't really want to be using a USB modem either way.

Something to watch for with O2 is that you can get their LLU service rather than Home Access, which uses BT Wholesale.
