Hi guys.

I've tried to work this out but not having much luck.

I plugged my macbook 13" into my lcd tv with the Lid closed, which was fine, but I then accidentally either selected the wrong resolution or wrong refresh rate, and the tv will now not recognise the signal going into it ( vga )

Its fine if i extend my desktop to the display, its just when i plug the tv in, turn on the macbook and close the lid that it is the issue.

Is there a way to make osx forget i ever plugged it into it so it uses the default display properties?

Or will I need to re-install it ?

Thanks for any help :)

Anthony.

In display prefs whilst extending your displays with the lid open click '

' and then adjust the resolution although if your mac screen doesn't support it then the mac will automatically adjust the resolution its self.

Let me know if this helps.
