Question re: Tri chan compatibility

Will my DDR3 Triple Channel memory (6 x 2GB) fit & work in my new Asus Deluxe X99 board (only until my Ripjaws get here)

I'm bored and want to play some games.

No it will not work your memory is DDR 3 and the motherboard supports DDR 4.

As stated the issue is DDR3 vs DDR4. There is no problem with it being tri channel, that just means it's sold in sets of 3.

Had you an x79 board it would run fine. My old x58 I bought three "dual channel" kits to get 6 DIMMs.
