I'm looking at upgrading my graphics card (Sapphire 5850 - 1gb), I basically built the whole system at the same time, just over a year ago and was looking at getting a 5970 sometime soon.

I wanted some advice on whether or not I should also upgrade any other components/add ram in etc?

Rest of the system is as follows :

MSI 790FX-GD70 (Winki Edition) MB

Corsair 750W TX PSU

Phenom II x4 965 (Black Edition) @ 3.4 (stock) CPU

2x2gb G-Skill F3 RAM

Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit

Gaming @ 1900x1200

My case definately needs upgrading (Antec 902) as it's a tight enough fit with a 5850 in there, any other recommendations?

wait for the 6 series due out soon, the rest of the system is still very good.

buy an SSD?

how bout http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-196-CM tho am biased cause have 1 best case ever had :D:D

I used to have a Cooler Master, big silver thing with handles on the top- I'll probablly go back to that tbh it was a great case.

Good suggestion on the SSD, I have 3 standard HD's at the moment but no SSD - I'll get one of those.

What about the other components, not really worth upgrading the processor for 1900x1200 with this beast of a card is it?

Edit sorry missed the bit about 6 series... Is that gonna be around the same kind of price?
