Bought a Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2 CPU Cooler a couple of months ago with the intention of overclocking a Q9550 but never got round to it.
Since then the I5 sandybridge chipsets have come out and I am now looking at purchasing one of these to overclock.
Will the brackets that come with the cooler work with the 1155 socket? as it was a couple of months ago its older packaging that came with the cooler and doesnt state.
(I appreciate the socket is for the CPU! just want to make sure)
