hi i am using a asus hd 6970 and in the CCC in the amd ovedrive there is a power control option that is set to 0 and goes - and +20 say i turn it up to +20 will it make any differance

Its a voltage thing so yeah it might if your pushing the core up and the games drop back to desktop indicating you need more power, its like a safer version of AfterBurner voltage control. So alone no you have to increase it with the clocks.

kk cheers got the card to 930/1405 but any higher it just goes back to desktop i would use msi after burner but i have no clue what i am doing when it comes to overclocking gpu

if anyone could give me some stable overclocks for my asus 6970 using afterburner that would be great
