Hi

I have just set up and performed a test on a new build I received today from overclockers. Slightly concered that my processor clock is showing at 1,599 mhz in 3Dmark.

It's the intel i5-3570k and it should come overclocked at 4.4 ghz.

Do I need to change something?

I havent actually used an OC'd machine before so please be gentle with me...

As far as i know this is quite normal. The newer motherboards use energy saving features that reduce volts & clock speeds during idle states. In your bios, should have something called "EIST" under cpu core features. This is repsonsible for processor clock showing 1,599 mhz. Under load though, you ll see speeds reach their OC max!
