Question regarding PCI-E power cables..

Right, I have my X1800XT powered with the 6 pin PCI-E cable that came with the C3D card, however this power cable only has two of the six pins connected.

My question is, if I use say the PCI-E power connector from my Modstream PSU, which has all six pins connected, will I get an improved OC? Any difference at all?

I doubt it will make much differecce, but if you have a dedicated connector then its better to use that

if the cable which came with the card has only 2 wires, i doubt itll use anymore of them.
