I have a 360 connected to my PC Monitor. I bought the converter from a high street store, it's not the official one though.

It connects the XBox to a VGA blue plug which goes into the back of my PC monitor. I have resoultion set to 1920x1080 in the system setup, but the main menus, and to a certain extent, games, still seem a bit 'fuzzy' (for want of a better description.

Comparatively, 1920x1080 output from my PC is mint crystal clear.

Am I missing something? Have I done something wrong? Or is it simply a case of not being a straight HDMI out signal going into the back of the monitor. On the box for the vga converter it does clearly say XBox VGA HD etc etc.

Perhaps fuzzy was the wrong term.

I have a button on the bottom of the monitor that swaps between DVI and vga, and it's just instantly noticable when I press it to go between Windows and the XBox home page. Nowhere near as sharp, for the same resolution.

I bought official cable from a major high street store. The colours are a bit better in games, but the main menus are still very poor.

One thing sticks out a mile though, how bad xbox 360 graphics are compared to a gaming pc.
