Why have you got a Mini One?
My LMPG sat at 68.8 over 140k, was 66.6 when I bought it.

I reset the MPG thingy on the Mini and drove it nicely, from cold, 5 miles to drop it off and get my car.
30.1mpg.
My car would do about 22mpg on the same run.
What the hell were you doing to it? Me and Pete have a 2009 Mini One at the moment over in Ireland and after resetting the trip computer, it's averaging about 42mpg and that isn't driving it like a granny! I was amazed at how economical it is.
