Any GTX580 should work fine with your existing card. Your PSU should be sufficient to run the setup, although you'll be running at fairly close to capacity if you're planning to overclock.

I would take the link down could be classed as a competitor.
You can sli any two brands of gtx 580's together, just make sure they have the same amount of RAM.
If going sli and the cards are close together on your motherboard you will be better off with reference design cards that exhaust hot air out the back of case.
Regarding your PSU, Anandtech claim 850 watts of total system power usage in furmark so you may need to upgrade.

That's an "at the wall" measure. The actual power draw will be 850W * PSU efficiency, which will be around 80-85% for a good quality PSU. So around 700W power draw.

Also, Furmark is subject to power-throttling on the GTX580 (implemented by Nvidia because it draws so much more power than 'real world' applications). I assume that anandtech found a way to disable this in order to get the 850W furmark power draw. During the original review, the highest power draw they were able to pull from an SLI 580 setup was 777W (see here), by running furmark in conjunction with a second program. Again, that's an "at the wall" number, so around 640W draw.
