4gb or Q6600 go?

I've just come into some money, now I'm going to take a bit and bank the rest. Would either be worth it?

Current system:

8800GTX
2gb ram
Gigabyte DS3
2*320gb
250gb
Xfi fatality pro.

Would go for the quad.......can't even see all 4GB unless running a 64-bit OS., and - speaking from experience - doesn't get used except for extreme circumstances (for me, only when running Virtual PC or AVCHD video editing ;))

Another thing - are the G0 variants easy to get to 2.8?
I had a non-G0 (D3 I think?) running at 3.0GHz at stock volts and 3.2GHz with a voltage boost, so would say 2.8 would be fine, as it runs a touch cooler etc.

If crysis is multi threaded (which, and don't quote me on this, i believe it is) it should benefit greatly from using a quad core cpu.
