Good Evening,

Its time to upgrade my graphics card as its about to break and its out of warrenty....

so i thought about this one

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-233-SP&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=411

my question is though
Prepare to experience a riveting high-definition gaming experience with the ATI Radeon HD 5800 Series graphics processors. Expand your visual real estate across up to three displays and get lost in the action with revolutionary ATI Eyefinity Technology. Using ATI Stream technology, accelerate even the most demanding applications and do more than ever with your PC. The first to deliver full support for Microsoft DirectX 11, these GPUs enable rich, realistic visuals and explosive HD gaming performance so you can dominate the competition. This card features Vapor Chamber Technology is based on the same principles as heatpipe technology. A liquid coolant is vaporised at a hot surface, the resulting vapor is condensed at a cold surface then the liquid is returned to the hot surface. The recirculation process is controlled by a wick system

is there any maintenance on this card i.e replacing the coolant?

bit of a silly question some might think but i just dont want a high maintenance graphics card :D

No coolant to replace or anything like that. I wouldn't suggest dropping £260 on a graphics card now, especially not a 5850, I got my 2GB 5870 for less than that (:p). I'd suggest you wait until the 6 series are release, which should be about this month.

yeah I agree. No point in spending that sort of cash now...on a 5850 as well...even if it is a 2 gig vapourx

wait a few weeks until 6***series are out and you'll get better value for your cash.

the 5870 is still going to be a great card for a couple of years so go for more than a 5850
