I have a 9800GT and I'm playing to upgrade to a 6950 or gtx 560ti and was wondering if I choose the 560ti could I have a 9800GT as a dedicated physx card and would my power supply be able to power both those cards, it's a coolmaster 600W.

yes you could although with a 560ti its probably not worth using the 9800gt as the 560gti, especially if its ramped up over 900mhz is fine on its own.

Also I'd bump up the ratio on the 2500k to give you 4ghz.

Plus is your motherboard the P8Z68-V ?

Ok so I could just leave card in my system then realy but de-activate it

Yes i'm on a asus z68, When I play games I overclock to 4.6ghz(done by ocuk)

560ti is a tasty card ive got the 6950 TOXIC ramped to a 6970 and overclocked and i find i get the same performance as a standard 580.

Think youd be happy with both.

Doesnt the 560 have dedicated physx anyways? That 1 card would do pretty much everything you want and then sli in the future.

Thanks for the response, so either one could play new games at 1080p without any problems, thats good enough for me

As for physx then if it can do it it's self i'll simply remove 9800GT or sell it xD
