Evening all!

Been having a few problems with spikey fps in WoW, Nothing major! more of an annoyance. Been asking for advice/suggestions on the WoW forums and one of the blizz posters said my pc was overclocked. That's news to me :D When I bought this system it did come with an overclock but after bullying blue screens, I set everything to factory settings in bios. Im sure the blizz dude is just wrong but is there anyway I can check? I look in the bios and I can see overclockers profile, but I don't think its on.

Only just noticed CPU-Z, the core speed is: 1601 MHz and it jumps to 3603 and back again. Every second it will go up and down. Nothing is open.

Its probably me being an idiot and that's normal but after he told me I was overclocked I thought I'd ask here.

I have:

i5 3570k
Gigabyte Z77x-UD3H /shrug
gtx 670

Thanks!

if you set everything to default then it wont be overclocked anymore

you can load the oc profile though then save/exit the bios and it should be overclocked again

to test you'd need to download cpu-z and prime95 and look to see what the cpu speed jumps to in cpu-z while stressing with prime95
